Today is the second day i watched Tom Yum Goong in the cinema.
Tom Yum Goong is 5 times better than Ong Bak as it had 5 times the amount of actions and stunts in Ong Bak.
With the fast pace music and the life like fighting, the beauty of Martial Arts embrace the cinema screen.
People may complain lack of storyline but which fighting movie did possess rich storylines anyway?, Bruce didn't even have to speak and negotiate like Kevin Spacey to succeed in movie business.
With no wires, no camera tricks and no stunt doubles, Tony Jaa rules the martial art scenes with brute strength, skill, stamina and bravery as shown in the stunts.
You noticed that every punches and kicks landed with an "Umph!".You can just feel the energy right there. The other martial artist who are good at this stuffs are Bruce Lee in all movies and Van Damme in Bloodsport.
So there you have it, Tony Jaa, the pride of Asia, if you think Tony is not the real thing, i recommend you watch Ong Bak's dvd documentary and observe the wood breaking demonstration using his flashy jumping spinning heel kick.
